Theme:

The theme of our comic is “The World Is Not Safe Anymore”. The four of has done it as the comic is based on the relationship between human and animal. We focused on the side how both animal and humans are important for the world. The whole world is living in a lockdown because of this ongoing Coronavirus pandemic situation. As a matter more animals are coming out and begin to seen. At this comic we tried to prove that not all humans are against animals, humans also do care for them. As of this situation there is not enough food for the animals so many organizations and people are providing food to the animals.

Layout/Plan:

In the beginning, four of us discussed about the idea and the concept what should be in the comic. After the discussion we make a rough drawing in a white A4 page in photoshop.

After getting ready with the basic layout, we started from page to page. We draw the backgrounds afterwards and when we finished with the background, we started working on the characters. Finally, we put all of them together. We have googled few images for the reference purpose to work according to that but all of us work together as a group and everything was drawn by the group member.

Final Painting:

1. At this page we took a long shot to explain the whole image as cox’s bazar is a big area so that we can explain the
             environment.

2. We gave green color to the tortoise to define the positive attitude.

3. Two of the images are same, we rotated the images to show that tortoise are showing everywhere in the beach.

1. In the first image, we showed the human view point as to giving the Message that the city is going through a dark time.

2. In this the birds are happy and they are roaming around the city Happily. We make the building colorful to show the view
            point of the birds.

3. We gave the girl a desi attire to represent Bangladesh. In this image we have shown different perspective of the tortoise in
            the same time frame.

1. Each of the tortoise has different view point.

2. Many of them has different mood that also we tried to picturize.

We kept the size of the frame same because the story became very much similar to every other animal in this point.

These two images shown how every human is not similar. Some humans do care for the nature and show kindness to the animals. We used different location with different perspective and kept the frame size bigger to explain that it is happening everywhere and in a wide approach.

This cover page and the last page shows that the world is in the breakdown and dealing with the virus. This indicating the virus is affecting the whole world. The characters which are shown behind the world that explain the whole story what it is all about. We used two fonts red and black. Red represents the danger which indicate the world is not safe anymore for both human and animal.

Realization:

We have shown the comic to some audiences and received some feedback about our work. Some of the feedbacks are mentioned bellow:
1. In a short period of time, we pulled a good work but it could be better.
2. As a group we received appreciation. Each of us done their part so nicely.
3. The story line is pretty basic and straight forward.
4. We made the design very simple, could work on that more.
5. The concept of the story is not on the top as its resemblance the ongoing situation.
6. As we did it for the first time as a group it was a good effort.
We have received so many positive attitudes form the audiences. Though we believe, we could have done more justice to the comic with more research. As the concept was based on the ongoing situation it was appreciated by everyone. In the future, I think we can do better with more time and research. At the end, personally I am very glad with the work as it was my first comic.

Learnings and outcome:

I have learned a lot about Adobe Photoshop during this learning process, which has made it easier for me to produce and modify graphics and photos. Furthermore, having to use my knowledge and creativity to produce original and interesting content during this course has helped me hone my critical thinking abilities. Additionally, I'veI have learnt how to make a comic book on my own, which is a noteworthy accomplishment and has improved my ability to express myself. Overall, my educational experience has given me valuable abilities in graphic design and critical thinking that I can use in a variety of contexts, such as my personal and professional development.
